Sea Turtle Conservation Project

As Andaman Coastal is one of the most fertilized places for sea turtle to live, deteriorating these coastal causes the problem of sea turtle breeding and growth rate. Some baby turtles are also affected from the local fisheries such as stuck in the fishery net, cut or wounded by boat paddle thus they need to be nursed in nursery before releasing back to their natural home again.

EnLive Foundation, with the cooperation among the Department of Fisheries, Royal Thai Navy and local partners, has launched the activity to help those weak sea turtle. By nursing them in the Department of Fisheries’ nursery, ensure that after releasing them back to the ocean, there will be higher rate to grow and be able to come back to its shore to breed for the next generation.
